Kathleen Kilar is a partner in the Fort Wayne, Indiana office. She practices in the areas of medical and dental malpractice defense, commercial law, civil litigation and general insurance litigation. 

Ms. Kilar received her B.A. from the University of Michigan, cum laude, in 1984 followed by her Doctorate of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from the University of Detroit in 1987.

Successfully represented bonding company in United States District Court wherein a third-tier material supplier for bridge construction project brought action against surety that issued the performance bond to the project's general contractor seeking payment under the performance bond. The United States District Court certified question of state law to the Indiana Supreme Court as a matter of first impression. Alberici Constructors, Inc. d/b/a Hillsdale Fabricators v. Ohio Farmers Insurance Company, 866 N.E.2d 740 Ind. (2007).
